The History

Haas Church at the Corners
Founded in 1837 by St. John's Lutheran and German Reformed Societies, Haas Church at the Corners sat one mile east of New Hamburg. The original building was a log church only 24X30 feet.
In 1846, the church was replaced by a two-story building (pictured below) and remained in use for almost 40 years.
Then, in 1921, the congregation raised the massive amount of $50,000 to build the red brick beauty that still stands today.
It was a safe meeting place for German immigrants, soldiers who had come to the area to settle down, and those around the area. Many of the 366 graves are German immigrants or of German ancestry.
Today, it has fallen into a bit of disrepair due to multiple owners not finishing remodels and sitting empty for years. However, that is all about to change with TikTok maven The Blue Bodhi purchasing it on a New Moon in June 2025.
Paranormal
Activity
With Bodhi and her team taking the place over in June 2025, she plans to bring the spirits of the church and surrounding grounds the love and attention they deserve.
During the first time that Bodhi and her team visited the church in April 2025, activity was off the charts. Items falling off walls, people being touched, disembodied voices caught on video, and so much more. The Reliquary as not disappointed ever since.
Bodhi and her team were able to investigate throughout the end of June after taking over the bulding and had a massive amount of encounters.
Here are a few of the things that we have experiences here at The Reliquary:
-
Multiple male voices throughout the basement
-
Being "touched" as if someone is trying to decide if you are real or not
-
Intelligent communication via flashlight, cat balls, spirit boxes, and more
-
Full body, shadowy aparitians in the cemetery during the day
-
Faces peeking in french door windows inside the church
-
The sounds of children playing
-
Shadows moving across hallways (day and night)
-
Having a jacket or shirt sleeve tugged on for attention
-
Items moving on their own
-
Items falling off the wall on their own
-
And so much more
